Shearwater Cove is a wilderness ecolodge on Resurrection Bay, about 10 miles from Seward, Alaska, and reachable only by boat. Stays include roundtrip water-taxi transportation from the Seward harbor, oceanfront yurt lodging, and unlimited access to the lodge kayak fleet plus trail network around the cove.
Guests come for Kenai Fjords scenery without a cruise ship schedule: paddle quiet water, hike from the yurts, watch for marine wildlife, and spend evenings in a low-impact off-grid setting. Guided kayaking is available as an add-on. The property also hosts small retreats and buyouts for groups who want the whole cove.

Owners Jason and Charity opened Shearwater Cove in 2016 with two bookable yurts. The lodge now runs seven oceanfront yurts on land and water of the Qutekcak People in Resurrection Bay, a historic Alutiiq and Sugpiaq crossroads at the head of the bay. The stay is built as a package experience: boat tour in, equipped off-grid yurt, and unlimited self-guided sea kayaking rather than lodging alone.
