- Located in Halibut Cove on Kachemak Bay, about 12 miles from the Homer airport and surrounded by Kachemak Bay State Park. Everyone arrives and departs by boat, floatplane, or helicopter. Stillpoint publishes a complimentary boat transfer from Homer Harbor (about 25 minutes aboard their vessels). Guests often fly commercially into Anchorage, then continue by regional airline, drive (about 5 hours), private jet to Homer, or floatplane about one hour from Anchorage Lake Hood directly to the lodge. Confirm transfers with stay@stillpointlodge.com before booking flights.
