About
Treehouse Lodge is the only all-inclusive treehouse lodge in the Amazon, set at the confluence of the Yarapa and Cumaceba rivers near the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve in Loreto, Peru. Twelve private treehouses sit 30 to 91 feet above the jungle floor, each with ensuite bathroom, hot shower, and screened windows for canopy views and natural ventilation.
Every stay is all-inclusive: round-trip transportation between Iquitos Airport and the lodge, three Peruvian-style meals daily, bottled water and juice at breakfast, all 18 excursions of your choice, and a private English/Spanish-speaking guide. Guests plan each day with their guide on arrival — from sunrise birdwatching and treetop canopy walks to pink dolphin sunset cruises, piranha fishing, dugout canoe trips, and nighttime caiman spotting.
The lodge operates on solar power with no WiFi or cell service, designed for full immersion in the rainforest. Treehouse Lodge has been nominated for World Travel Awards including Peru's Leading Lodge and South America's Leading Eco-Lodge.
Treehouse Lodge was built for travellers who want the Amazon from an angle most visitors never experience — the treetop canopy. Located where the Yarapa and Cumaceba rivers meet, the lodge connects guests to the wild, magical world of the Peruvian Amazon without sacrificing comfort.

FAQ
Treehouse Lodge sits on the Yarapa River in the Peruvian Amazon, near the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve. Travel to Iquitos by air (no roads connect it to the outside world), then the lodge handles the 2.5-hour transfer — first by car, then by boat. Two daily airport pickups are offered: 9:15 AM and 1:30 PM.
Round-trip transportation between Iquitos Airport and the lodge, three Peruvian-style meals per day, bottled water and juice at breakfast, all excursions of your choice, and an English/Spanish-speaking guide. Flights to Iquitos, drinks beyond water, tips, and souvenirs are not included.
High water (December–May) means rivers rise 20–25 feet, opening more waterways for canoeing and lush scenery. Low water (June–November) exposes more jungle paths for walking, brings slightly warmer days, and tends to mean fewer mosquitoes. Both seasons offer outstanding wildlife viewing.
Yes — every excursion is included. Choose from 18 unique excursions including sunrise birdwatching, swimming in the Amazon, dugout canoe trips, piranha fishing, jungle walks for medicinal plants and wildlife, sunset cruises with pink dolphins, nighttime caiman spotting, and stargazing. Plan each day with your private guide on arrival.
Lightweight breathable clothing (avoid cotton), long pants and sleeves for jungle walks, long socks, walking shoes, hat, insect repellent with 20–30% DEET, sunscreen, flashlight or headlamp, and a dry bag for camera gear. Bring cash in USD or Peruvian Soles (bills under $50) for drinks, tips, and souvenirs. Leave hairdryers, curling irons, and straighteners at home — they overload the solar power system.
No — and the lodge considers that part of the experience. There is no WiFi or cell service at the lodge, giving guests a rare chance to unplug and reconnect with nature. Handle anything urgent before boarding the boat in Iquitos.
