Our Story

The inception of the Surrey Mental Health and Substance Use Urgent Care Response Centre has roots in personal stories and communal bonds. It was born out of a recognition that many individuals in Surrey feel isolated during their darkest moments. I’ve seen firsthand how stigma can silence those suffering in silence, and this is why I dedicated my efforts to create a space where vulnerability is encouraged. Every day, I witness remarkable transformations—whether helping someone regain their confidence or guiding a family through turbulent times. This journey is a labor of love and compassion; it's not just about providing a service. It's about building relationships.
