My journey into Traditional Chinese Medicine began not within the sterile walls of a medical school, but cloaked in the aromas of my grandmother’s herb garden back in China. I fondly remember the weekends spent with her, watching her prepare teas and tonics for our family. It wasn’t just about remedies; it was about stories and traditions passed through generations. When I moved to Kitchener, I recognized the local community's need for a compassionate approach to health that respects the individual’s unique needs. Establishing Tongji Traditional Chinese Medicine felt less like a job and more like a calling, the convergence of my passion and the opportunity to share this ancient knowledge. Every patient brings a new story, and together we compose a narrative of healing; this, I believe, is what distinguishes our practice from others.
