Every journey has a beginning, and mine was born from a desire to create a more compassionate approach to health care. After years in the conventional medical system, I witnessed so many individuals struggling to find comprehensive answers to their health issues—answers that considered the whole person, not just symptoms. It was this passion that led me to establish Functional Medicine Uptown. I wanted to provide a sanctuary where individuals could feel truly heard and supported. With a focus on integrative practices, I remember my very first client who entered the clinic feeling defeated.
