Our Story

The journey of establishing Child & Youth Addiction & Mental Health began with a single question: How can we create a safe space for youth in Grande Prairie to find their voice? As a longtime resident of this vibrant community, I’ve watched countless young people struggle silently, burdened by stigmas surrounding mental health and addiction. My passion for helping them stems from witnessing the power of change firsthand. After years of observing the effective impact of holistic, individualized approaches, I decided to open this clinic as a beacon of hope. Driven by real stories and feelings, our philosophy prioritizes empathy and genuine connection. In working closely with families, I realized that involving loved ones in the treatment process is crucial. This approach not only empowers the youth but fosters supportive environments where healing can genuinely flourish. I feel incredibly privileged every day to partner with families in their journey, reinforcing the belief that no one has to face their struggles alone. The relationships we build with each client ignite a passion within me that drives our mission forward. Together, we are transforming the life narratives of our youth into stories of resilience and hope.
