Frequently Asked Questions

Q1:What is cryotherapy and how does it work?

Cryotherapy is a treatment that involves exposing the body to extremely cold temperatures to reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and enhance recovery. It works by constricting blood vessels to minimize swelling and then allowing increased blood flow to the area once the treatment is complete.

Q2:Is cryotherapy safe?

Yes, cryotherapy is generally considered safe for most individuals when performed by trained professionals. However, it's important to discuss any pre-existing health conditions with your provider before undergoing treatment.

Q3:How long does a typical cryotherapy session last?

A typical cryotherapy session lasts about 3 to 5 minutes, during which the body is exposed to cold temperatures to achieve the desired therapeutic effects.

Q4:What conditions can cryotherapy help treat?

Cryotherapy can help treat a variety of conditions, including chronic pain, sports injuries, arthritis, and muscle soreness, as well as aid in recovery from workouts.

Q5:How often should I undergo cryotherapy sessions?

The frequency of cryotherapy sessions can vary based on individual goals and health conditions. Many patients benefit from 2 to 3 sessions per week, but it's best to consult with our specialists to create a personalized plan.
