My path to establishing Sit With Us Therapy Collective was illuminated during a time of personal upheaval. Facing my own mental health challenges made me acutely aware of the lack of accessible support in our community. I wanted to create a place that felt safe and welcoming, where individuals could explore their stories without judgment. Entering the field of holistic counseling wasn’t merely a career choice for me; it was a calling to bridge the disconnect I witnessed. My trauma-informed practice is influenced by my own experiences and ongoing education, emphasizing the importance of empathy and connection. I believe that each client's narrative is unique, and they deserve a space that respects and nurtures their journey. Here in Victoria, BC, we share a commitment to wellness that goes beyond the surface, nurturing a deeper understanding of the self. I strive to create a community where individuals can find healing through shared stories, contribute to each other's healing processes, and discover peace.
