Our Story

Saanich Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine was founded through the long-standing collaboration of Harris Fisher and David Arnold — friends and colleagues since their second year of Chinese medicine school over twenty years ago. Inspired by exceptional instructors at the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, they interned with renowned physician Dr. Pan Xiaochuan and pursued advanced Classical Chinese herbal medicine training with Arnaud Versluys at the Institute of Classics in East Asian Medicine. Both earned the designation of Diplomate of Canonical Chinese Medicine (DCCM), with further study in Beijing and Nanjing. For more than twenty years they have helped their community from collaborative clinic environments, and now bring that depth of experience to their ground-floor Saanich clinic — fully wheelchair accessible, with free parking near Quadra Street and McKenzie Avenue.
