Our Story

Access & Assessment Centre was born from a profound belief in the importance of mental health. As a practitioner in the field, I witnessed firsthand the struggles many individuals faced in accessing adequate support—particularly in a fast-paced city like Vancouver. Inspired by the desire to create a compassionate space where everyone could feel understood and respected, I founded AAC. The journey hasn’t been solitary; it’s been a collective effort, fueled by the stories of clients who seek change and healing. Each narrative shapes our practice, reminding us of the transformative power of connection and understanding.
