The Vancouver Shambhala Centre is a Buddhist meditation hub offering mindfulness-awareness meditation instruction and a variety of programs for both beginners and experienced practitioners. Located in Vancouver, it serves as a sanctuary for personal transformation and community connection.
The Vancouver Shambhala Centre emerged from a deep yearning for a space where quietude meets community, inspired by the teachings of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche. It provides a sanctuary for mindfulness and meditation practices, offering tools to discover greater compassion, confidence, wisdom, and joy in daily life. The centre is a volunteer-run, volunteer-funded meditation centre, relying on donations to keep its doors open.
