Our Story

My Tai Chi journey began years ago when I stumbled upon a class that captivated my heart. In a world filled with chaos, I discovered clarity through each deliberate movement. The profound tranquility that enveloped me resonated deeply. Inspired by this transformation, I decided to bring the art of Tai Chi to my community in Surrey. My goal was clear: to share the harmony and balance I found with others seeking the same refuge. As I began teaching, I realized each student’s story was unique. The Academy became a space where individuals from diverse backgrounds came together, finding solace and strength in their shared practice. Witnessing students blossom from uncertain beginners to confident practitioners fills me with incredible joy. This personal connection fuels my passion and drives me every day. Seung-ri Academy is more than a studio; it is a gathering of hearts seeking peace.
