Back when I first moved to Richmond, I noticed a gap in genuine mental health support that truly resonated with individuals. It became clear that many faced their challenges in isolation. This realization ignited a passion in me—not just to help, but to create a space where everyone could feel understood and valued. I envisioned a community woven together by shared stories, encouragement, and friendship. Each member brings unique experiences that enrich our collective journey. As our network grew, so did my resolve to offer something authentic. The Richmond Mental Health Consumer and Friends Society isn’t simply a clinic; it’s a gathering place where people come to connect, share, and heal together.
