Q1:Does MSP cover medical dermatology?

BC’s MSP covers medical dermatology appointments when you are referred by a family doctor or another physician. Coverage may not apply to optional/cosmetic treatments.

Q2:Are cosmetic appointments covered by MSP?

No. An initial cosmetic consultation fee of $200 applies, with no charge for follow-up cosmetic appointments. Medical concerns are not addressed during a cosmetic consultation.

Q3:What is the late-cancellation / missed-appointment policy?

Missing a medical appointment or failing to give 2 business days’ notice to cancel/reschedule incurs a $110 fee; the about page also notes a $200 fee in the cosmetic section for missed cosmetic appointments without adequate notice.

Q4:Where do I park?

Paid underground parking is available in the Centerview Building (P1/P2 pay stations or mobile payment per posted signage).

Q5:What if I arrive late?

Call or email if possible. As a courtesy to on-time patients you may need to wait; if more than 15 minutes late, the appointment may be rescheduled.
