Our Story

The inception of Pins Thai Massage reflects a deeply personal journey. My passion for massage therapy ignited during a sabbatical in Thailand where I studied under skilled masters of the art. I was captivated by the attention to balance and the flow in each therapy session—how skilled hands intertwined with breath and intention to create profound shifts in energy and wellness. This holistic philosophy resonated within me, and I knew I wanted to bring this magic back home to Nanaimo. Upon returning, I transformed an ordinary space into a peaceful retreat, thoughtfully decorating it to evoke a sense of calm and comfort. The warm lighting and natural elements echo the tranquility I experienced abroad, creating an inviting space for clients. Each day, I am driven by the incredible stories I hear—individuals overcoming pain, people finding solace from the chaos of life, and the joy of seeing clients step out of my studio transformed. This connection to my community fuels my dedication to perfecting my craft while providing a safe and nurturing environment for healing.
