Our Story

The inception of Elise Ruel Birth Services stems from my own birthing experiences, which transformed my understanding of parenthood. As I navigated the profound changes that pregnancy brought, I sought education that resonated with my values - a blend of traditional and contemporary practices. It became clear that many families felt overwhelmed by information overload and lacked suitable support during their transitions into parenthood. My desire to bridge this gap inspired me to curate a range of supportive services that empower families and respect their individual journeys. The joy I witnessed in my clients as they embraced their new roles fuels my passion even today. I aim to create a space where knowledge meets community, and where everyone feels valued and supported. Each interaction is imbued with empathy, from prenatal classes to postpartum visits. It's about nurturing connections - between partners, with their newborns, and within the broader community of Kelowna. There’s nothing more fulfilling than being part of each family's unique story, guiding them through a pivotal chapter of their lives.
