Our Story

The journey to establishing WINSOME PILATES began long before I opened these doors. Years ago, after experiencing the profound impact Pilates had on my own body during a tough recovery from an injury, I felt a calling to share that magic with others. It started as a small passion project, teaching friends in community centers, where I realized that the practice had the power to change lives. My background in dance and physical therapy provided a strong foundation; however, it was the community's response that truly ignited my passion. Seeing individuals grow stronger and more confident, infused with energy and joy, was my greatest motivation. I knew I wanted to create a space that honored both the art and science of movement, true to my values of inclusivity and personalized care. Years later, that initial dream blossomed into WINSOME PILATES. Each class represents not just a workout, but a sanctuary for individuals to discover their strength, connection, and even a sense of belonging. This studio is infused with love and a genuine commitment to the well-being of our Burnaby community.
