Our Story

My journey into mental health began in the hallways of Red Deer College, where I had my first taste of understanding human emotions. Witnessing the struggles of peers sparked a flame in me—a need to create a sanctuary for those battling internal storms. As I delved deeper into psychology, it became clear that the stigma surrounding mental health in our community needed dismantling. Alberta Mental Health Div was born from this vision. I aim to cultivate an environment where individuals can speak freely about their vulnerabilities while also finding genuine solace and support. The countless stories I've heard from clients drive me to continually adapt our services, ensuring that we are not just a clinic but a place of refuge.
