Our Story

The inspiration for Extended Family Services sparked from my deep desire to support the seniors in my community who often feel isolated or overlooked. Growing up, I watched my grandparents thrive with the right connections and care, and I knew I wanted to carry that legacy forward. Each client’s story resonates with me, and I take to heart the responsibility of walking alongside them during their golden years. What drives me is the personal connection; the laughter shared over a cup of tea or the calming presence during difficult moments. I’ve seen how companionship can transform lives, not just for seniors but for their families as well. This journey began with one visit, one story shared, and it has blossomed into a heartfelt commitment to serve the wonderful seniors of Medicine Hat.
