Our Story

My journey in establishing the Addiction Mental Health Community stems from personal experiences and a mission to create a nurturing environment for those grappling with mental health challenges. Having witnessed the struggles of friends and family firsthand, I became deeply passionate about breaking the stigma surrounding addiction and mental health in our society. In Medicine Hat, a town that often feels tightly knit yet sometimes isolated, I envisioned a space where individuals could feel safe to express their vulnerabilities. With the goal of building bridges—not walls—I assembled a dedicated team focused on compassionate care and evidence-based practices. Each day, I am motivated by stories of resilience that remind me of the profound capacity for change within our community. Together, we can change lives, one individual at a time.
