Our Story

The inspiration behind the Canadian Yoga Institute blossomed from my personal journey of healing through yoga. Years ago, I found myself struggling with anxiety and a sense of disconnection, and it was during a fateful class that I discovered the power of mindfulness and movement. That epiphany ignited a passion within me to share what I had learned. I became a certified instructor and spent years cultivating a practice rooted in compassion and community. What sets us apart is my commitment to creating a space where everyone feels welcome to explore their own path, free from judgment. I wanted to create not just a studio, but a home where each person can find their voice and strength, and connect with others who are on similar journeys. Our motto, "Breathe, Connect, Grow,” reflects this mission, and I live by it every day.
