Our Story

The inception of NWP Student Mental Health Services arose when I witnessed firsthand the struggles students face in balancing academic pressures with personal challenges. Having worked in the field for years, I recognized a gap for accessible, student-focused mental health support in Grande Prairie. With this vision, the clinic was born out of a desire to create a space where students can feel safe, understood, and empowered. My journey led me to explore multiple therapeutic modalities, ensuring that our approach is not only comprehensive but reflects the diverse needs of our clients. Every success story fuels my passion—be it a student overcoming anxiety before exams or one discovering their voice in group therapy. I believe in the resilience of young minds and the importance of nurturing their mental health during pivotal life transitions, making this work deeply fulfilling.
