Our Story

The spark for Awaken Counselling & Holistic Services ignited during a particularly challenging chapter of my life. After a personal journey through mental health struggles, I realized the profound impact that holistic practices can have on emotional and spiritual well-being. This realization led me to pursue formal training in counseling and holistic therapies. Every client I encounter is a reminder of why I initiated this journey: to guide others through their own complexities in a supportive and nurturing environment. I believe in making the therapeutic process feel warm and inviting, as I’ve experienced firsthand how healing can significantly alter the trajectory of a person's life. My desire to give back to the community here in Grande Prairie keeps me grounded and motivates me to continuously expand my skills and knowledge.
