Our Story

The inception of Alberta Insight Meditation Centre was born out of a personal journey. I recall my first encounter with meditation—a simple session that ignited a spark within me. It became clear that this was not just a practice for personal peace, but a pathway to greater understanding of the self and connection to others. It inspired me to create a haven where others could explore this enlightening journey. As I sought deeper knowledge, studying various forms of meditation and mindfulness, I envisioned a space where I could share these teachings with Edmonton’s community. Each workshop and session I lead resonates with my belief that everyone deserves a moment of quiet in this fast-paced world. Witnessing individuals transform, letting go of their burdens and embracing gentler ways of living, is profoundly fulfilling. This connection between people and practice is what AIM Centre embodies—a nurturing environment where healing and understanding flourish. I’ve poured my heart into building this sanctuary, and every day, I remain inspired by the incredible people who walk through our doors.
