Serving Calgary since 2024
One Taichi Wushu was founded in 2024 by Master Murray Cheung (張耀中), former and current National Team member of Canada's Wushu and Taichi teams. Murray represented Team Canada at the 2025 World Games in Chengdu, China, finishing 7th overall. Offers traditional Tai Chi, contemporary Tai Chi, and Wushu/Kung Fu classes. Focus on internal energy training, stress relief, balance, and mental clarity. Free trial classes available.
My passion for martial arts ignited with a single class in Wushu at a small studio years ago. What began as a search for self-defense spiraled into a captivating adventure through Tai Chi. Observing the effects of this practice—its ability to harmonize the body and mind—changed my life. I started One Taichi Wushu to share that transformation with others. The studio reflects this ethos, where everyone can find their rhythm and support. I assist students in navigating their own journeys, tapping into the profound benefits of Tai Chi while integrating community and inclusivity. Watching participants grow and embrace serenity is what fuels my dedication to this craft.
