A few years ago, standing in my kitchen over a cup of tea, I reflected on the friends I had lost to the stigma surrounding mental health. Those moments of vulnerability and strength inspired a dream to create Sunshine Medical Centre. I envisioned a place where mental health care felt safe and intimate, where healing was not just a process but an experience filled with compassion and understanding. Having navigated my own challenges, the mission became clear: to equip others with the tools they need to overcome their obstacles. This vision ignited a passion for creating a supportive community and, against the odds, became a reality. Now, each day at Sunshine Medical Centre reinforces the belief that even the smallest step can lead to profound change.
